  3. I am a former kindergarten teacher, empty nester, vegan, teacher of gardening, healthy eating and lifestyle, and am a huge lover of delicious, clean, healthy, grow your own, nutritious and healing foods. But……I am not a kitchen buff!
    I just stumbled upon your site from Lipmans link. I am considering doing a “Julie and Julia” style self-challenge with your recipes! Absolutely nothing would make me happier right now in my life than to carve out time every day of the next 365, and make a new recipe each day. (I can probably speak for my hubby and say nothing would make him happier! Lol)
    Not sure how to work it into my schedule or how to create a weekly/daily routine that would allow me to do this.
    Just considering tho’. Because of course if I say I’m gonna do it, then I must try with all my might to follow thru on a decision that I made. (Imagine that!! Unheard of! Lol)
    So anyway……thank you for this blog, your passion for healthy food, and your open heart to share. I’ll keep you posted on my decision! :)

    • We have so much in common! Please do keep me posted–I would love to know how your journey goes. That sounds like such a wonderful idea! Alas, it can definitely be time consuming to eat healthy and make your own meals, but I also think it pays off in the long run. I didn’t begin cooking and preparing meals until 4 or 5 years ago and I’ve grown to absolutely love it!
